2017 was a mega year for us – see Review of 2017 and what’s in store for 2018 – and we LOVED bringing to life the queer history of London with so many legendary activists who continue to bring love and freedom to our community and we loved meeting with people from all over the world who came on our tours and to our events.

Our next Tours!

Dan is running Queer tours of Soho on Saturday 10 March and Saturday 17 March. / Meeting at 3pm at the cottage in Soho Square.
We cannot empower our queer present without understanding our queer past. On this 1 hour walking tour of Soho, come and discover some of the now-lost queer nighttime spaces, the incredible queer pioneers that ran these spaces, and the clientele that filled them. Learn about the oppressive police actions, such as undercover surveillance and raids, as well as the inspirational stories of the fight for queer liberation.

Meeting Point: The cottage in the middle of Soho Square

This tour is led by Dan de la Motte on behalf of Queer Tours of London / @Dandelamotte / 07725402263 / dandlmh@yahoo.co.uk
Dan de la Motte is a Queer performer, presenter and activist. His 2017 credits include Lipstuck at the Glory and Reading Fringe, compering The Big Gay Lunch at the National Liberal Society and Acts of Sexual Offence at the Glory (both to mark the 50th Anniversary of Partial Decriminalisation of Homosexuality in England and Wales), co-hosting the inaugural BANG BUS for Queer Tours of London, as well as, of course, appearing on Bargain Hunt and achieving meme status. In 2018 Dan will be appearing on the Arcola stage in Fine and Dandy, as part of their Queer Collective, and will continue to host Off Book, the Young Vic's podcast. @Dandelamotte
