BLOOLIPS and Radical Drag Platform Southwark

July 16 @ 8:00 am - July 19 @ 5:00 pm

For the first time: the frocks, posters, films and artwork of legendary Queer theatre troupe BLOOLIPS will be on display at this free exhibition.

The exhibition shines a light on the radical-camp campaigners who developed the Bloolips theatre troupe out of the Gay Liberation Front in the early 1970s under the direction of BETTE BOURNE and toured America and Europe with a message of laughter and liberation, becoming the toast of off-Broadway.

Members of Bloolips will often be in attendance to chat with visitors at this exhibition organised by Queerseum and Queer Tours of London.

Proceeds go towards the running and planning of the exhibition. The exhibition is free to view daily, and on the night of the Conversation, for ticket holders.
The exhibition is a QUEERSEUM event Damien Arness Dalton, curated by Dan de la Motte
